Martyrs are people who gave their lives for the country. 30 January was the day when the father of our nation Mahatma Gandhi was assassinated by a mad man by name Nathuram Godse in the year 1948. It is a practice all over the country to stand in silence for two minutes at 11 o'clock today. In our school also, a bell will go at 11 o'clock and we have to stand in silence till the next bell at 11:02. IIT stands for Indian Institute of Technology. 5 IITs, at Kharagpur, Kanpur, Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai were established in 1955 by the interest taken by India's first Prime Minister Jawahar Lal Nehru. The goal was to identify the most talented students in India and to mould them into great engineers and scientists for nation building by imparting high quality technical education. Today, there are around 15 IITs in India with about 10,000 seats. Admission in IITs is given based on JEE, that is, Joint Entrance Examination. More than 13 lakh students take the JEE every year. Now we see India in the northern hemisphere. But millions of years ago, this was in the southern hemisphere, near the South Pole. It drift northward slowly and collided with Asia. Land rose up because of the collision and the land that rose up is now the Himalayas. This happened 70 million years ago. The land is still rising since that time. So the height of the HImalayas is increasing every year by a few millimetres. Since they were born due to folding of land, the Himalayas are called fold mountains. Thank you for listening.

He, Tilak and Bipin Chandra were aggressive nationalists. They were called Lal, Bal, Pal. He was known as Punjab Kesari or Sher-e-Punjab which means Punjab Lion. In 1928, while leading a procession against Simon Commission, he was badly injured in a lathi charge by the British. The injuries led to his death. శుభోదయం. నా పేరు ___. ___ వ తరగతి. నేటి సుభాషితం. ఆకాశంబున నుండి శంభుని శిరం, బందుండి శీతాద్రి, సుశ్లోకంబైన హిమాద్రి నుండి భువి, భూలోకంబు నందుడి యస్తోకాంభోధి, పయోధి నుండి పవనాంధో లోకమున్ జేరె గంగా కూలంకష, పెక్కు భంగులు వివేకభ్రష్ట సంపాతముల్. ఈ పద్య మూలాన్ని సంస్కృతంలో భర్తృహరి. తెలుగు లోకి అనువదించిన వారు ఏనుగు లక్ష్మణ కవి. గంగ పుట్టింది వైకుంఠంలో విష్ణుమూర్తి కాలి బొటనవేలినుంచి. తరువాత ఆకాశంలో ప్రవహించింది. అక్కడినుంచి మహాశివుడి తలపైకి చేరింది. తరువాత హిమాలయాలపై పడింది. హిమాలయాలనుండి కిందికి జారి భూమిపైకి చేరింది. భూమిపై ప్రవహించి సముద్రంలో కలిసింది. తరువాత పాతాళానికి జారిపోయింది. ఇలా, గంగ ప్రయాణం వైకుంఠంలో మొదలై పాతాళంలో ముగిసింది. వివేకాన్ని కోల్పోతే ఎంత గొప్ప వారికైనా పతనం తప్పదని దీని భావం. ధన్యవాదాలు.
